E9 Girls: Excellence on Display in Recent Tournaments

The Elite 9 Girls league congratulates to the Lovell Academy U14 Girls, Valley Jr. Warriors U12 and U13, and the Vermont Jr. Catamounts U14 Girls for their outstanding performances in recent tournaments. 

Lovell Academy U14 Girls – CCM World Invite

The Lovell Academy U14 Girls had a spectacular showing at the prestigious CCM World Invite, finishing with a perfect 6-0 record. Their tournament journey was nothing short of impressive, as they secured victories over some of the toughest teams in the nation, including the Detroit Little Caesars, Windsor Wildcats, Detroit Belle Tire, Windy City Storm, Peterborough Ice Cats, and Team Illinois. The highlight of the tournament came in the championship game, where Lovell Academy triumphed over the highly-ranked Team Illinois with a decisive 3-0 win. Currently ranked 13th in the country, Lovell Academy continues to climb in the rankings and is proving to be a force to be reckoned with.

Valley Jr. Warriors U12 Girls – Jay Peak Girls U12 Championship

The Valley Jr. Warriors U12 Girls also had an undefeated weekend, finishing 4-0 to capture the Jay Peak Girls U12 Championship. The team began the tournament with two dominant victories on Friday, including a 7-1 win over the Bay State Breakers and a 5-1 victory over the Vermont Jr. Catamounts. The Warriors continued their strong play with a 9-1 win over St. Albans, setting up a highly anticipated championship game against the undefeated East Ottawa Stars. In a thrilling and hard-fought contest, the Valley Jr. Warriors found themselves down 2-1 but refused to back down. Their resilience and determination paid off as they mounted a comeback to win the game, dramatically securing the championship title.

Vermont Jr. Catamounts U14 – Fall Foliage Tournament

The Vermont Jr. Catamounts U14 Girls enjoyed an undefeated weekend at the Fall Foliage Tournament, finishing with a perfect 4-0 record. The team showed their depth and skill with victories over the Crimson Pride (5-3), Lady Milita (7-0), and the Black Bears (2-0). In the championship game, the Jr. Cats faced off once again against the Crimson Pride, and with a stellar performance, they secured a 3-0 shutout to claim the tournament title. 

Valley Jr. Warriors U13 Girls – Veterans Day Power Play Tournament

The Valley Jr. Warriors U13 Girls had an extraordinary weekend at the Veterans Day Power Play Tournament in Clifton Park, NY. The team went undefeated with a flawless 4-0 record, showcasing their dominant play throughout the competition. In the preliminary rounds, they defeated the NY Dynamo, Adirondack Northstars, and Saugerties Fillies with ease, setting the stage for a thrilling championship game. In the final, the Jr. Warriors delivered an outstanding performance, defeating the NY Dynamo 6-1 to claim the championship title. Currently ranked 4th nationally in Tier II, the U13 girls are continuing to make waves both regionally and nationally, proving that they are one of the top teams in the country.

These remarkable achievements highlight the hard work, determination, and skill of these elite teams.
