Elite 9 Alumni excelling in professional hockey

The Valley Jr. Warriors are celebrating three of their standout alumni!

Chris Kreider and Noah Hanifin, both were selected to the inaugural NHL 4 Nations Faceoff tournament. This prestigious event, temporarily replacing the traditional NHL All-Star Game this season, brings together top NHL talent from around the league.

Chris Kreider, in his 13th season with the New York Rangers, has become one of the NHL’s premier power forwards. He recently surpassed Adam Graves as the third all-time leader in goals for the Rangers and reached 500 career points last year. Kreider’s inclusion in the 4 Nations Faceoff highlights his continued excellence at the highest level.

Noah Hanifin, now in his 11th NHL season, has been a steady and reliable defenseman throughout his career. Known for his two-way play, skating ability, and defensive presence, Hanifin currently plays for the Vegas Golden Knights and is regarded as one of the league’s top defensemen.

In addition, Alex Carpenter, a former Warriors player, has been dominating in her second season with the PWHL. The forward for the Sirens has already earned multiple league weekly honors only being two weeks into the season. Carpenter’s strong performance in the PWHL continues to build on her successful career, which began with the Warriors in 2006-2009.
